Posted April 12, 2020 by the Planning Team: Please understand the Lodge is temporarily closed due COVID-19 restrictions. Making reservations will have to wait. 

There is good news and bad.  The good news is that we have confirmed more of the activities including a walking excursion of Donner Summit, a guided Donner Party tour and a special guided journey through the new Donner visitor center.  More good news is that we have established, thanks to the efforts of Ann Meneguzzi, a lower hotel room rate of $94 per night (King bed) at the Donner Truckee Lodge, which is located right next to the park.  The bad news is all coronavirus related.  First, the Donner Truckee Lodge is currently closed, so no room reservations can be made.  Secondly, due to the virus crisis, it is still unknown if the event can even take place.  More information will be made available as it is known.
