California State Park Rangers Association
Video Presentations Online
BACKGROUND: Several retired members on the GrayBears forum, Jeff Price, Mimi Guiney and John Mott, put together a series of Zoom video chats with guest speakers starting in May 2020. This was an expansion of the original “GrayBears Social” events created by Broc Stenman and Jeff Price. With CSPRA’s Board approving purchase of a Zoom Pro account and allowing us to use the Zoom Pro paid service, several things resulted: 1) the events were no longer limited in scope and time (40 minutes) as with the Zoom Free account, and 2) we were able to record the video and/or audio saved to a cloud feature included with the subscription and accommodate up to 100 participants.
Below are links to presentations where we salvaged some or most of recent events. The earlier events were not fully recorded or were done in several separate parts as the Zoom Team (Jeff, Mimi and John) was just catching up with the application features, technology and options. These videos are not edited, so you are viewing what participants saw and heard as live and real time events.
