The First Thirty Years, 1943-1973

California State Parks digitalized the first 30 years of their monthly publication, News & Views, 1943-1973 (7,050 pages). Then CSPRA Board member Kim Preston did the work to combine the raw scans and convert them into a HUGE PDF file.  We then divided and saved that single file into smaller and separate semi-decades.  

Each very large file is stored individually on the CSPRA server. With about a 5-minute wait, using a high-speed connection, these files can be and downloaded or accessed and searched online.  Each 300+ MB file has its own search feature if you are looking for a particular name, story or location. Just use keyboard strokes for “search” once you have the file open or downloaded.
